What do you know -- the internet works WAY better at the beach than it does at our house! I can post pictures! :)

"Gymnastic Julie's" return to Haiti was a great birthday present!

Today is the first day in over a month where the interent is working at the SAME time that I can actually sit down to blog on my computer! We have been using the internet at the Renners, but my camera card isn't compatible with their computer, so I haven't been posting many picutures. I will run and get my card really fast -hopefully the signal will last!

Kristina is standing at the screen door yelling, "Daddy! Daddy!" and motioning with her hand for him to come.

I told her that we couldn't see Daddy today. She fussed and ran to Brianna. Then she began pulling on Brianna and asking her to go with her to Daddy.

We told her that maybe we could see Daddy tomorrow night. Then we distracted her with French Toast and Hot Chocolate. :)

Poor thing - it was so cute to see her yelling for her daddy and motioning with her hand.

Back to School

We enjoyed our vacation SO much! On our last day of vacation, I made delicious waffles (if I do say so myself) with our new Belgium waffle maker. Yum, Yum!!!

Then I asked the kids what they wanted to do for their last day of vacation. They listed several things - but then, do you know what Brianna and Jake ended up doing? They decided that they would rather go the new Seminary to work. :)

School is off to a great start! We hope to have another pizza party for those who are exceptionally behaved this month! :)

Enjoying our Christmas gifts....

We have enjoyed putting together several puzzles together as a family. The kids have also been enjoying their new paints!

I should also get a picture of Alanna playing with her Polypockets and Pet Shop animals. She LOVES those!

We could have glued this puzzle together, but we decided that we would rather enjoy doing it together every Christmas! Its beautiful!

Day after Christmas at the Beach

Over 20 of us headed for the beach on Saturday! It was the perfect day for sand and sun! I did get in the water for a bit and jumped the waves with Kristina. But it just wasn't hot enough - I preferred the warm sand. :) Others swam quite a bit though - it was pretty nice for December!
