Summer Fun

Together with cousins at Great Grandma Burroughs' farm

We left Illinois the last of July and began our trip South
Our first was Santa Claus, Indiana -- home of the family the family friendly amusement park - "Holiday World."

Cousins enjoying their first trip to Holiday World!

Precious time together!

We were able to stay with Brett's mom, brother and family at a cabin in Southern Indiana after our trip to Holiday World. We had a great time!

The kids LOVE being with their cousins!

It was hard to say goodbye to the Bundy gang!

Next we headed to meet my family in Kentucky.

Together with family at Cleft Rock Retreat Center in Kentucky

We played!

We hiked!

We enjoyed being together!

Saying, "Goodbye" made my heart break! It was soooo hard to leave!

After leaving Kentucky, we headed to Alabama, where we enjoyed southern hospitality in Prattsville, AL. We thank the Lord for the support of such a loving church! After a weekend in Alabama, we drove down to Florida.

We spent two days at Vero Beach Inn, Florida just before flying back into Haiti.

We thank the Lord for His Many Blessings!!!!!!!

Pretty, Pretty!

The kids have been enjoying their time in the States! One of their favorite things is getting to be on the go. There is so much to do and see; and of course we have many friends, family members, and churches to visit - so we are "on the go" a lot! As we go - it is a LOT of fun to listen to the kids as we drive along. One day, we heard Kristina squealing, " Pretty, Pretty, Pretty!" in a VERY excited voice. We looked out the window and saw streamers of sparkly, colored flags hanging over a car-lot. :)
