Pretty, Pretty!

The kids have been enjoying their time in the States! One of their favorite things is getting to be on the go. There is so much to do and see; and of course we have many friends, family members, and churches to visit - so we are "on the go" a lot! As we go - it is a LOT of fun to listen to the kids as we drive along. One day, we heard Kristina squealing, " Pretty, Pretty, Pretty!" in a VERY excited voice. We looked out the window and saw streamers of sparkly, colored flags hanging over a car-lot. :)

The Bus Trip

We enjoyed our trip to the Domincan Republic! The two days of traveling could have been pretty awful had all the kids not been such troopers! The kids were eXtremely thrilled by the bus trip - though Brianna did get sick on the way. We left home at 6:30 am and arrived at our hotel at just before 7 pm that night. It was a rough trip! The twists and turns as the driver tried to dodge all the holes, coupled with a constant up and down of going through holes - was something else! I can't even begin to decribe how rough the trip was. We were thankful that the seats on the bus were plush!!! The bus was awesome!

Colored Eggs?

We had a LOT of fun coloring eggs today. Two of our MK neighbors and their mom joined us. So, we were quite the egg-coloring crew! With 3 kids ages 3 and under we ended up coloring a whole lot more than just the eggs! :) But, it was a lot of fun and our kids mentioned that we should do it EVERYday!

So Much Fun In the Sun!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the beach Saturday! It has been 4 whole months since we have been - we were in need of a refreshing get-away! We praise the Lord that the weather, our health, and Brett being here- finally all came together on the same day - so that we could go!

The water was a bit on the cool side, so we played in the sand quite a bit! :) The kids swam as long as they could take it - until their lips turned purple and their bodies were shaking! :) They would then run out to play in the sand to warm up before heading back out again.
